This has nothing to do with makeup or beauty products whatsoever, but I have found myself unable to keep silent about this. I was flipping through December Allure when I came upon this absolutely hideous and unnecessary creation. These, my friends, are Swarovski crystal-encrusted Adidas sandals. The very same sandals that college guys used to wear with socks to schlep around the dorms. The ones you wore around the pool at swim practice. The most hideous, function-without-fashion, unisex sandal in the history of shoemaking, covered in crystals. As if that could possibly improve them! And they cost US$280. Horrors! Manolo, are you listening? This is a fashion crime that must be stopped in its tracks!
