People's Most Beautiful People 2007 issue has an interesting feature this year - 10 stars who agreed to be photographed without makeup. I think it's fantastic (and brave) that these 10 women, whose careers depend on their public image, would agree to go barefaced - especially in an era where celebrities are ripped to shreds on a daily basis in the tabloids and gossip blogs.

The imperfections are there - undereye circles, uneven skin, just like everyone else - but they're still beautiful. It's a great reminder that beauty isn't all about makeup, and we aren't defined by what we wear on our face. Makeup can't create confidence; it comes from within, and is clearly evident in these photos. All 10 women look confident, happy, and comfortable in their own skin.
