I clicked over to Sephora's website today just to see what's new, and WOW, the page is just teeming with mineral makeup. It's come a long way since those first Bare Escentuals informercials, hasn't it? It seems that mineral makeup has really reached its tipping point; even companies who normally produce "regular" makeup are now getting into the mineral market.
Sometimes I feel like I'm really behind the times because I haven't gotten on the mineral bandwagon. I like Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil and Clear Radiance every once in a while, but since they don't travel well, they tend to get relegated to the back of the shelf. And nevermind the travel, the little particles seem to find their way into every corner of my bathroom at home! I have to wipe down the sink after every application (maybe I'm just messy?).
For me, it just isn't worth the effort. Plus, I don't really wear foundation on a regular basis (only tinted moisturizer, as most of you know), so that contributes to my lukewarm feelings about the whole mineral makeup craze.
Still, I know there are many of you out there who swear by the stuff; even those who say it's helped clear up acne. So tell me...
