Saving Face

We know we're supposed to use sunscreen on our faces everyday, but why would anyone want to when so many of them are goopy and white, smell funny, and clog our pores? Yuck. Moisturizers with SPF are great for everyday, and usually don't have any of the unsavory characteristics listed above, but for swimming or the beach, a good face sunscreen is hard to find.

Fortunately, the addict has discovered something that will save you from sun damage, chalk-face and clogged pores. Peter Thomas Roth Ultra Lite Oil-Free Sunblock has no fragrance and no titanium dioxide or zinc, both of which make for thick, heavy white creams that can make you break out. It's available in SPF 20 or 30 and has antioxidants, as if you need another reason at this point.

No one wants wrinkles, sun damage, or spots...but no one wants a breakout on the beach, either! Do your face a favor and lay off the kabuki-esque sunblock. PTR sunblock works just as well and won't make a mess of your face!
