ANOTHER beauty book, friends! They are cropping up everywhere, and I can't get enough.

This one sounds really, really good. Passport to Beauty: Secrets and Tips from Around the World for Becoming a Global Goddess is by Shalini Vadhera, the makeup artist and founder of the new Global Goddess line.

Vadhera has collected the best beauty tips from around the world, including lots of natural remedies, skin care basics, and makeup tricks, and she relates her advice with a common sense approach that is sometimes severely lacking in so-called "beauty bibles."

For those of you who were inquiring about a multicultural approach to beauty a few weeks back, you might find this book to be quite helpful! Vadhera herself is of Indian descent, so I'm sure she knows firsthand the challenges of finding the right products for different complexions.
