It makes me smile whenever I see one of my favorite beauty companies working with HIV/AIDS charities - having lost 2 cousins to the disease by the time I was 14, it's always been a cause that's important to me. No one should have to suffer the effects of this horrific disease. And no family should have to deal with losing a loved one to AIDS.
So, please, please (pretty please?) check out the latest from The Body Shop. They've teamed up with MTV to introduce Rougeberry, a pretty, fruity floral EDT that's perfect for spring. Proceeds from the sale of every bottle go to MTV's Staying Alive Foundation, and help towards raising awareness and stopping the spread of HIV among young people.
I've been wearing mine every day, and I'm proud to say I'm supporting AIDS charities every time I get complimented on it.
The details: Top Notes: raspberry, tangerine and apple. Middle Notes: heliotrope, rose, violet and peach. Base Notes: musk, amber, cedarwood, sandalwood, vanilla and sugared almond.
