Biore (the pore strips! I love the pore strips) and Gen Art have teamed up to co-host the UNCOVER/DISCOVER Program, a nationwide competition to help support and showcase the next generation of bright faces in the fields of music, film, fashion and the visual arts.

Through May 31, young female consumers can enter their original work in any one of four categories - visual arts, fashion design, music and short film - via www.bioregenart.com. Six semifinalists will be chosen in each category by the Biore/Gen Art team, and their entries will then be posted on www.bioregenart.com so that consumers can vote for the three finalists in each category.

The 3 finalists will receive a year's supply of Biore products, and now get this...the grand prize winner in each category wins a $20,000 (one dollar for each pore found on our faces!) grant to be used in furthering their career in the arts! Grand prize winners will ultimately be selected by the Biore skincare team and Gen Art experts (past judges have included Diane von Furstenberg, Cynthia Rowley, John Bartlett, Nicole Miller, Alek Wek, and my favorite...Tim Gunn).

Winners will be flown to NYC for a Winner Showcase and Announcement Celebration in October 2007.

So put your best work out there and show the Bioré skincare experts and Gen Art what talents you have covered up. After all, talent shouldn’t stay hidden for long!
