Clinique is killing me with these compacts. Really. If it doesn't stop I'm going to have to clear out one of my kitchen cabinets to make room for my collection. They're just too...pretty...to pass up!

First there was the Pink Chocolates Shimmering Tones powder, that limited edition wonder, and then the beautifully girly Fresh Bloom Allover Color compacts.

And now Shimmering Tones is back, in 4 new incarnations, as part of the Summer Highlights collection. Swirled together, they're gorgeous bronzers, and each little individual square offers options for highlighting, lining, shadow - they're true mulitaskers.

My current obsession is Bare Bronze, which is light enough to look natural on my pale skin. Golden Bronze is deeper, while Peach Bronze is more tawny and Blushing Bronze is more of a rose gold.

And what's this? A fifth one, something on the website that I didn't spot before? Shimmering Tones powder in SHIMMERING WHITES! That's it. Out comes my Amex. And out go the Wheat Thins and Milanos that are just taking up too much space in that kitchen cabinet.
