Beauty crime: going to sleep still wearing a full face of makeup.
Not only does it throw my skin completely out of whack, it leaves smidges of mascara and tinted moisturizer all over my pristine pillowcases. I have enough to deal with, getting the St. Tropez tanner out of my sheets. I don't need black smudges to go along with the tan!
Still, I'm guilty of skipping the nightly face-washing more than I care to admit. There are just some nights when I'm so exhausted that I can barely make it to the bed, let alone cleanse, tone and moisturize.
Solution: Boots No. 7 4-in-1 Quick Thinking Wipes.
I've tried a few similar cleansing cloths in the past, but my finicky skin just didn't react well. Not so with these; I love them. The wipes make quick work of all my makeup, including my stubborn layers of Fatale, and leave my face feeling smooth - clean and hydrated, but without any soapy residue.
They're fragrance-free and contain the toning astringent witch hazel (I know, I know...there are skincare experts who would say that witch hazel is an irritant. But I happen to love it and will NOT give it up, ever!).
Boots Quick Thinking Wipes are an excellent value; you get 30 wipes for around $7, a small price to pay for a full month of clean skin at night. And the package fits perfectly into a nightstand drawer (which is where I keep mine; out of sight but not out of reach!).
