Whee! More spring goodness to brighten up these chilly days.

The Spring 2008 Technotropics collection from Prescriptives is already available online and is scheduled to hit counters January 15.

As the name implies, Technotropics is a fusion of edgy downtown style and steamy tropical hues. The star product - limited edition Lip Strips - reminds me of the colors in last year's Hot Tropics collection from The Body Shop. So pretty!

Lip Strips is a mirrored compact filled with five complementary shades of sheer lip gloss in cream, shimmer and sparkle finishes. I have the "Techno Cool" set and I'm loving the colors - they range from sheer silver sparkle to creamy pink lilac with three shades of shimmery candy pink in the middle! They're great on their own or blended - right now I'm wearing the deepest pink shade with a dab of the sheer silver in the center of my lips.

The other standout in the collection? Blush More or Less Creamy Cheek Color. This is a super-light cream blush that blends amazingly well and comes in 4 shades, 2 of which are limited edition. Like one of my all-time favorite, Lancome Magique Blush, this one is nearly foolproof.
