Now that I'm back in the blogging swing of things, I've ben catching up on upcoming Fall 2010 collections. Above is Stila's autumn offering, The Color of Innovation. I'm wincing as I type this, because I love Stila and I love pink...but I just don't love this collection. The eye palette looks uncoordinated and, dare I say, garish (perhaps due to the inclusion of mauve and fuchsia next to metallic navy and emerald). And the cheek color is another one of those "magical" color change products that purports to react to your pH levels to "create the perfect shade every time." If it's the perfect shade every time, maybe Stila should just discontinue all its other blushes. Just sayin'.
On the positive side, I DO love the shades of the new Long Wear Liquid Lip Color, especially Petal and Caprice (4th and 5th from top, respectively). And props to Stila for creating more pink-toned lip liners, for which, longtime readers will know, I have a major soft spot.
