Prada Infusion de Tubereuse has been patiently waiting in my perfume cabinet, since the spring, to be tested and written about.

I honestly don't know how I've managed to wait so long, because the packaging is just SO gorgeous and enticing. The print on the box, as well as the bottle's side and cap, was inspired by patterns from Prada's archives.

Infusion de Tubereuse, the latest entry in Prada's Ephemeral Infusions series, is a crisp light green floral.  Notes include tuberose, petitgrain, blood orange and dynamone (thank you to The Scented Salamander for deciphering that one as "an aromachemical with an ambery character").

It opens like a classic cologne--light, citrusy, transparent--immediately putting me in mind of the bottle of 4711 ever present in my grandfather's bathroom cabinet. After a few minutes the tuberose arrives, and it's very sheer, almost green, springy. Infusion de Tubereuse is neither a beachy tuberose (think Michael Kors) nor a powerhouse tuberose (think Fracas).

It's not my favorite of the recent Prada releases (I like Infusion d'Iris and L'Eau Ambree better), but if you're looking for a sheer, airy tuberose scent, you just might love it.
