Just a little Billy Joel to go along with your beauty reading! If you thought the Bobbi Brown Metallic eye shadows packed a nice punch, you're in for a nice surprise with the new Chrome eye shadows. Available in Gold, Silver and Pewter, they're densely packed with metallic particles, and less sheer than the Metallic collection, but still go on just as smoothly as you'd expect from a Bobbi Brown shadow.

Gold is a dark, coppery bronze gold, Silver looks like a shiny dime, and Pewter is a medium metallic taupe. Pewter's my favorite and definitely the one that you MUST HAVE. A shade like that is endlessly versatile, and the quality is just so good, you must buy. I'm in love with it.

The compacts have a metallic chrome finish - love that too - but they do tend to accumulate fingerprints pretty quickly, which (kinda) spoils it for me. I'm pretty sure they can be popped out and inserted into an empty BB palette, too, if that's your thing.

If you want a Chrome shadow - and you should - don't wait, because, of course, they're limited edition and will probably disappear pretty quickly!
