Hilary Duff graces the cover of this month's (well, soon to be last month's) Allure.

As I was choosing covers for the favorite May cover vote, I debated even including this one. Why? I find it so incredibly boring that I couldn't think of anything interesting to say about it. Hilary looks pretty, as usual, but everything about the look is just so very unremarkable.

My blogger pal Spoiled Pretty agrees, and did a little comparison of the May and June covers. The June cover, with Jessica Alba, looks like a mirror image of this one. It's especially bizarre because, as Daneen points out, Hilary and Jessica look nothing alike. Read her post for more info - she makes some excellent points.

Allure is always trying to tell us about the latest trends in makeup and showing us all manner of interesting looks on the pages inside; why not put one of them on the cover for a change?
