I'm one of those people who has to have something on her lips AT. ALL. TIMES. Lip gloss, lipstick, chapstick, it doesn't matter. If I'm bare-lipped for too long, I inevitably start licking, biting, picking. And then by the end of the day my lips look and feel rather unappealing, to say the least.

I've mostly remedied this problem by keeping some kind of lip product in just about every purse I own, as well as in the car, in my desk, and in every room of my apartment, including the kitchen.

But every once in a while the lippies get transferred around, and a purse will end up with no product in it. Uh oh. It's a foregone conclusion that the licking, picking, and biting will commence shortly.

So, a new solution is in order. You can leave the house without a lip gloss, but you can't leave your house without your keys -- unless you're prone to doing that, too, but that's another problem. Thus, a wee little lippie on a key chain ensures that sweet relief (and shine, natch) is always at your side. This key chain from DKNY does the trick.

Now, when it comes to keychains I'm a minimalist. I don't like mini photo frames, flashlights, noisemaking or jingling items, or souvenir crap attached to my keys. Maybe one little item, and that's all (my car key is attached to a Coach ladybug keyring). However, I'm willing to break my own rule in this case, since clearly I can't go very long without some sort of lip coating.

The DKNY Be Delicious Key Chain is a Tiffany-style U-ring with 4 attachments -- Be Delicious scented gloss and rollerball fragrance, and Delicious Night scented gloss and rollerball fragrance. You don't have to have all 4 on there at once (indeed, that would be tacky), but can slide them on and off as you like.

I quite like these scented glosses (I wrote about the Delicious Night one a few months ago) and they certainly quell the urge to pick and bite, while leaving your lips shiny and sweetly scented to boot. I just wish they sold refills, because I wouldn't repurchase this with new keyring and all -- just give me the mini lippies!
