A while back I alluded to a disappointing experience with some otherwise promising Sally Hershberger shampoo. The product in question is Supreme Head shampoo for normal to thin hair. I really, really wanted to love it, but alas, Sally and I were not meant to be.

I was instantly drawn in by the pretty pink bottle with the gold writing, and the shampoo smelled deliciously of iced tea, which I loved.

But my experience with it actually on my hair was quite different. The iced tea smell that wafted from the bottle smelled more like Lemon Pledge atop my head. And while my hair felt fine and looked good immediately after washing it, by the end of the day it felt dirty and flat. I just felt like this shampoo didn't clean my hair well enough.

And for a clean freak like me, that just doesn't cut it.

Plus, I have to admit, the name gives me the giggles. Supreme Head? It sounds like that skanky Confessions of a Video Vixen girl, doesn't it? (Oh wait. That was Supahead. Close!)
