Pretty in Pink: 12 Gorgeous Glosses

There's nothing like a great pink lippie to add a fresh pop of color to your summer look! I have a major soft spot for pink glosses; in fact, as I was going through my collection to write this post, it was difficult to narrow it down to 12. Check out my favorite pink lip glosses below, ranging from cotton candy to deep raspberry, in shimmer, cream, and plumping versions. What are your favorite pink glosses?

For more gloss suggestions, check out this post on berry shades and this one on "clear reds."

1 and 2. NARS Lip Gloss in Frisky Summer and Sweet Dreams ($24) Frisky Summer is a bright, creamy raspberry and Sweet Dreams is a pearly candy pink (both are a big brighter than they appear in the pic). They're unscented and unflavored, so if you're sick of the generic vanilla lippy smell, these are a great pick. Sweet Dreams in particular is one of my favorite "keep in the purse" glosses; it goes with everything and has a gorgeous luminescent finish.

3. Josie Maran Plumping Lip Gloss in Brilliance ($24) This cotton-candy pink lip gloss has just a touch of shimmer and boasts marine collagen and moisturizing argan oil. It's free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates and synthetic fragrance. Plus, it smells like dulce de leche - yum.

4. Joey NY Specialty CinnaMEN Lip Gloss Duo in Ladies Man/Tormentor ($21) One of my sleeper faves, this cheeky gloss supposedly helps you attract men thanks to aromas of cinnamon and vanilla (hey, can't hurt!). Ladies Man is a sheer, shimmery raspberry/grape, and smells of hot cinnamon, while Tormentor is a light candy pink, also shimmery, with a vanilla scent.

5. Lancome Color Fever Plumper in Ample ($29) A gorgeous electric pink with silver shimmer, this plumping gloss feels great on the lips - hey, even the heart-shaped felt applicator feels great on the lips! The plumping effect is more subtle than, say, LipFusion or Lip Venom, but it doesn't burn, sting or feel numb.

6. Clinique Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Bamboo Pink ($14) This one is a lookalike for my favorite discontinued Chanel Glossimer, Surprise, with the added benefit of long wear and SPF 15. These Clinique glosses REALLY stay on - I've been consistently impressed with the staying power. Bamboo Pink is a light/medium sheer pink with fine silvery shimmer.

7. Estee Lauder High Gloss in Berry ($16) EL's High Glosses are some of my all-time favorites; they have a fab texture and great color saturation. Berry is a bright, shimmery medium pink.

8. Stila Lip Glaze in Guava ($22) This shade of Stila's iconic Lip Glaze is a creamy dusty rose -- not too bright, not too mauve, not too dark or light, just right. It's on the sticky side, but that doesn't seem to have stopped it from being an incredibly popular product for years. And of course, it smells delish.

9 and 10. MAC Lipglass in Virgin Kiss and Steal My Heart ($14) Both of these are from this spring's Rose Romance collection. Virgin Kiss is a light shimmery pink; it's slightly lighter than the Clinique gloss mentioned above, but also more pigmented (and the shimmer is more of a pale gold). Steal My Heart is a sheer, bright raspberry magenta with multidimensional pearl.

11. Shiseido Lip Gloss in G14 Pretty Pink ($21) Sheer medium candy pink with finely dispersed, twinkly multicolor shimmer. This gloss has a light texture and a light, subtle scent -- it smells sort of like expensive soap, which I thought would be gross on my lips, but I actually kinda love it.

12. DuWop Venom Gloss in Lantana ($18) This is a hot gloss, friends -- literally! Venom Gloss has the same warm, tingly feeling as Lip Venom (but maybe a little milder, actually) with added color and a creamier texture. Lantana is a light/medium bright creamy pink with just a touch of shimmer.
