Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) has announced the finalists in this year's Beauty Awards and, as usual, the categories are jam packed with truly great products. What makes the CEW awards different? The finalists and winners aren't the same old overhyped products selected by a couple of magazine editors, they're voted on by 4000+ professionals in the beauty industry. No Great Lash on this list!

I was at the annual product demo again this year and was lucky enough to check out the nearly 600 entries, from over 280 different brands. Amazing! The list has now been whittled down to 131 finalists in 26 categories, and the CEW Board of Governors will vote on them (we'll see the results in early May).
